Stone County Board of Supervisors is proud to offer employees a medical plan administered through Blue Cross Blue Shield of Mississippi, paired with a GAP plan administered by ManhattanLife. A GAP plan is designed to supplement the deductible of a high deductible health plan. This reduces the amount the member has to pay out of pocket prior to the plan's coinsurance taking effect. The chart below illustrates the total deductible for the plan, what the member is responsible for paying, and what the GAP Plan is responsible for paying.

Important Notes:

Out-of-network services will not count toward your OOP limit.

Deductibles and OOP Limits are accrued based on the calendar year, January 1st through December 31st.

If you enroll one or more family members, when one member meets the Individual Deductible and OOP Maximum that member will be covered as having satisfied the Deductible and OOP Max for services provided by In-Network providers.
